Outline of R&D
This project provides a platform that enables easy access to a variety of measured biological resources and phenotypes for a broad range of objectives, including research and education, in a manner that can be inferentially searched via the public linked open databases. The project aims to enhance the value of biological resources because most of the resources have no phenotypic annotation, but can be associated inferentially to phenotypes via genes and biomedical documents. Based on this platform, this project provides an integrated database that enables researchers to discover various resources in different areas via the huge amount of linked open databases.
