Outline of R&D
We expand KEGG MEDICUS, an integrated database linking genomes to diseases and drugs through molecular networks, with advanced functionalities for utilizing genomic information in society. The disease database will be improved by associating more diseases with perturbed networks. A viral ortholog cluster database will be developed for assisting functional characterization of unknown viral genes and proteins.
