Outline of R&D
We will construct a database containing whole genome sequences determined by long-read sequencing of about 100 samples of Japanese origin, that can be public at the nucleotide sequence level, along with structural polymorphism information revealed from the sequences and their multi-omics information of the samples. This database will be an important infrastructure of information useful for understanding the relationship between structural polymorphisms and rare diseases and multifactorial diseases in the Japanese population.
