Outline of R&D

Since FY2011, we have been developing a new integrated database for microbes 'MicrobeDB.jp' based on Semantic Web technologies. The followings are the development items for 3 years project. i) Integrate data from both Fungi and Algae, ii) Develop sustainable system to ensure automatic data collection and updates, iii) Develop various types of application (Stanza), iv) Improve the usability for unspecified innovators. By achieving the above issues, MicrobeDB.jp will become a database system that makes it possible to discover novel knowledge from big data.
