概要
KusakiDB is a database of orthogroups (OGs) that correlates: OrthoDB, UniProt, and RefSeq. It introduces two new tools: OG assessment, infers conservation level of OGs among complete genomes; OG management, shows the list of OGs that fits the level of conservation selected by users. Such tools can be used to evaluate the completeness of structural gene prediction alongside BUSCO. This method could potentially bring to light some OGs that are unique to a few species which could have evolved at a high evolutionary rate or could be resulted from a horizontal gene transfer.
