Outline of programs

We are implementing the Database Integration Coordination Program (DICP) to address the integration of databases.
In addition, we have so far implemented the Core Technology Development Program (implemented from FY 2011 to 2013) and DICP Tool Prototype Trial for Integrated Database Analysis (implemented from FY 2013 to 2015).

List of programs

  • In progress
    This project is being advanced with the aim of developing the data in databases used in life sciences and related research in Japan into data that is more valuable to a larger and more diverse population of researchers.
  • Completed
    The purpose of this program is to search for new methods of utilizing the databases integrated (or being integrated) under the Database Integration Coordination Program from the perspectives of the users.
  • Completed
    In this program, technological development is carried out to establish the infrastructure for addressing database integration up to the implementation of a portal site.
