Outline of R&D

We develop a database to provide metabolome information of crops like rice and tomato, and of commercially useful microorganisms such as oil-producing algae as realized for model organisms like Arabidopsis and yeast. Metabolite information will be linked with genomic information through metabolic maps. The website will become useful not only for biomedical fields but also for ecology and nutrition studies.
