Outline of R&D

Using an originally developed analysis method (PHi-C), a "PHi-C database" will be constructed to comprehensively analyze and visualize the dynamic 3D genome structure (4D genome state) for public 3D genome structure data (Hi-C data). The PHi-C database will be built using GPU servers to accelerate and scale up PHi-C computations and achieve an integrated visualization platform for 4D genome information, allowing users to intuitively compare and understand multiple Hi-C data sets. With this database, the project aims to provide dynamic higher-order structural information of genomic DNA in the nucleus, which is essential for elucidating life phenomena in eukaryotes, and to contribute to new hypothesis generation and knowledge discovery through simulations, theoretical analysis, and integrated genome analysis.
