Outline of R&D
This project aims at integrating the glycosciences with other related life science fields by utilizing Semantic Web technologies, which are the common foundation among life science databases. In particular, we will develop an international glycan structure repository, along with a standard glycan structure representation for all glycans. In parallel, by developing glycan-related databases and standardizing their data, we aim to establish higher levels of integration with other fields.
