The following people at the Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS) and companies contributed to developing ”Database Catalog”. This service was developed as part of the “Integrated Database Project”*, funded by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and is now being provided and maintained by the National Bioscience Database Center (NBDC) at the Japan Science Technology Agency (JST), since April 1st, 2011.

Some of the contents of “Database Catalog” are based on a report that investigated the situation of life science databases published in 2008 to the Council for Science and Technology Policy funded by the Special Coordination Funds for the promotion of Science and Technology.
